Pilot5.ai for Who?
M&A & Financial Advisory
Every deal thesis deserves an adversary before it meets one.
Five independent AI models stress-test yours first.
For the associate building the model. For the banker taking the thesis to the investment committee. For the deal lead who signs off on the terms that bind a client's capital.
Analysis grounded in filings and market authority. Theses that survive the investment committee. Absolute confidentiality on deal information. Speed under deal pressure that does not compromise diligence. A record of how each conclusion was reached, ready the day someone asks for it.
A single AI gives one confident answer, in the same tone whether it is grounded or invented — and a model trained to agree with you validates your deal thesis instead of testing it, with no record of how the conclusion was reached. On a transaction that commits your client's capital, that is not a research assistant. That is a risk.
The companion builds the brief with you.
The target and the transaction. The thesis and the synergies it rests on. The diligence findings and the exposure they surface. The terms on the table and the committee that has to clear them.
Research and retrieval fire in parallel.
- SEC — target and comparable filings, disclosure
- FTC · DOJ — US antitrust review and merger enforcement
- Federal Register · eCFR — US regulatory text
- IRS — US tax treatment of the structure
- OECD — cross-border tax and transfer-pricing standards
- IMF — macro and country risk on cross-border transactions
- EUR-Lex — EU legislation for cross-border deals
Every claim carries a provenance tag. [SOURCED] means traced to a verified reference. [INFERRED] means analytical inference — flagged automatically. Claims that cannot be traced are labelled as inference, never presented as fact.
Five frontier AI perspectives deliberate, each through a calibrated mandate.
- The Architect maps the structure — the transaction perimeter, the synergies claimed, and which assumptions carry the thesis.
- The Strategist reads the sector, the cycle and the market authority the committee will test the thesis against.
- The Engineer works the numbers in the filings — the model, the synergy math, and how far the base case can bend.
- The Counsel surfaces regulatory exposure, cross-border treatment, and the terms that will bind before the LOI hardens.
- The Contrarian sole mandate: argue this deal destroys value, and name the diligence finding that would prove it first.
Five complete analyses. Five distinct angles. Not five versions of the same answer. Then they challenge each other, anonymously. Then they converge — and when one perspective refuses to, that dissent is preserved rather than averaged away.
Output:GO / PIVOT / NO GO / INSUFFICIENT BASIS · Confidence score · Decision matrix · Minority Report · Testable predictions.
Questions Pilot5.ai helps with
- What is in this target that our diligence read has not surfaced yet?
- Which assumptions is the whole thesis resting on, and which one breaks first?
- Are these synergies real, or are we underwriting a number we cannot defend to the committee?
- What is the exposure we are taking on before the LOI hardens around it?
- What is the strongest argument against signing these terms, and how do we answer it?
Common questions
- Is transaction data confidential?
- Transaction material is never used to train any AI model. A pseudonymization layer replaces party and personal identifiers with reversible tokens before anything reaches a model, and restores them only in your result — automated detection reduces what reaches a provider, though it cannot guarantee elimination. Each deliberation leaves a timestamped record you can retrieve by ID. Retention periods and Zero Data Retention mode are set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Does it replace the deal team or the fairness opinion?
- No. It is a rehearsal of the challenge the other side and your own committee will bring — synergy case, integration risk, the multiple nobody wants to reopen — with the dissent preserved. The advice you sign remains yours.
- What does it cost inside a live process?
- The estimate is shown before the deliberation runs, reserved at launch, settled on completion, with any excess refunded, so it fits a deal budget without an open-ended commitment. Current rates are on the pricing page.
Do not take our word for it. Run your own deliberation on a question you know well.
Read how five independent models handle it, then decide what it is worth.
Pilot5.ai produces AI-assisted analysis. It is not a substitute for professional financial advice, and it is not investment advice. Outputs are research and decision-support only, and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before any transaction decision. You decide.
