Pilot5.ai for Who?
Executive Search & Board Advisors
Every shortlist hides one question nobody asked out loud.
Five independent AI models ask it before the offer goes out.
For the consultant running the mandate. For the advisor framing the success profile with the chair. For the nomination committee that has to defend the appointment long after the search is closed.
Assessments grounded in the verifiable record, not in halo effects. Recommendations that survive the nomination committee. Absolute discretion on candidates and mandates. A record of the reasoning behind the shortlist — and a tool that arms your judgment of people, the one judgment that cannot be delegated.
A single AI gives one confident answer, in the same tone whether it is grounded or invented — and a model trained to agree with you validates your read on a candidate instead of testing it. On an appointment that will steer the company for years, that is not a research assistant. That is a risk.
The companion builds the brief with you.
The mandate and the success profile behind it. The shortlist and the rationale for each name. The verifiable record you have gathered. The committee that has to approve the appointment.
Research and retrieval fire in parallel.
- SEC · DEF 14A — proxy statements — board composition, tenure and pay
- FCA · FINRA BrokerCheck — fit-and-proper and disciplinary records for regulated roles
- OECD — corporate governance principles and board-practice benchmarks
- EUR-Lex — EU rules on board composition and appointment disclosure
Every claim carries a provenance tag. [SOURCED] means traced to a verified reference. [INFERRED] means analytical inference — flagged automatically. Claims that cannot be traced are labelled as inference, never presented as fact.
Five frontier AI perspectives deliberate, each through a calibrated mandate.
- The Architect maps the success profile against the mandate — the role as it actually is, not as the last incumbent shaped it.
- The Strategist reads the market for this profile, the sector cycle the appointment lands in, and where the company will be in three years.
- The Engineer works the verifiable record — tenure, attributable outcomes, and what the evidence supports versus what the narrative claims.
- The Counsel surfaces discretion, conflict, disclosure and the questions the nomination committee will ask about process.
- The Contrarian sole mandate: argue this appointment fails in eighteen months, and name the signal already visible in the file.
Five complete analyses. Five distinct angles. Not five versions of the same answer. Then they challenge each other, anonymously. Then they converge — and when one perspective refuses to, that dissent is preserved rather than averaged away.

Questions Pilot5.ai helps with
- Is this success profile describing the role we actually need, or the one we just lost?
- Which part of our read on this candidate is evidence, and which part is halo?
- What will the nomination committee attack first in this shortlist rationale?
- Who is missing from this shortlist, and why did our process never surface them?
- What is the strongest case against making this offer, and how do we answer it?
Common questions
- Is candidate data confidential?
- Candidate material is never used to train any AI model. A pseudonymization layer replaces personal identifiers with reversible tokens before anything reaches a model, and restores them only in your result — automated detection reduces what reaches a provider, though it cannot guarantee elimination. Each deliberation leaves a timestamped record you can retrieve by ID, which matters when an appointment has to be justified afterwards. Retention periods and Zero Data Retention mode are set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Does it replace the consultant's judgment or the referencing?
- No, and it does not score or rank people. It argues the shape of the mandate and the risk in the shortlist — including the case against the front-runner — so the committee decides having heard it. The appointment remains a human decision.
- What does it cost within a mandate?
- The estimate is shown before the deliberation runs, reserved at launch, settled on completion, with any excess refunded. Current rates are on the pricing page.
Do not take our word for it. Run your own deliberation on a question you know well.

Pilot5.ai produces AI-assisted analysis. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and never a substitute for meeting the person. Outputs are research and decision-support only, and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before any appointment decision. You decide.
